Produce high-quality label content for smaller items

When there’s a lot of surface area to work with on a product, marketing professionals have lots of obvious options. Smaller items require producers to think both creatively and economically when printing and placing their labels, since they have to get their point across while fitting everything into a limited area. They still have options, but they may require special printers to work.

For information on smaller products that need labels, the OptiMedia Labs website features a list of items that either have a special purpose or unique shape that keeps them compact. The perfect labeling options for this size will conform to the shape of a container while staying colorful and resistant to environmental damage.

The following are examples of the types of portable products that may require a custom label. A color label printer, like the Primera LX900, could be used in all of these cases, although there are other options:

• E-cigarettes: These are often long and sleek, challenging companies to brand them as their own without cluttering up the surface. Multiple printer choices allow companies to find a device that suits their style, preferred workload and color scheme.
• Lip balm: Bright colors and bold, readable font help make the diminutive labels catch the eye when the tubes they are wrapped around are small enough to fit in a pocket or purse. In addition to a product name and description, these labels could also feature imagery that emphasizes the key flavor or ingredient.
• Vitamin labels: Vitamins and nutritional supplements can come in various sizes, requiring producers to match their specific situation with appropriately fitting labels that account for all of the ingredients they will contain.

No matter the size of the product, it should be easy to identify, categorize and understand, and can be with the right labels. OptiMedia Labs offers multiple printers specially made for the mass production of professional labels for different industries.
