Yes, this is a tie-in with Peeps, the popular candy marshmallow that often chooses shapes reminiscent of holiday imagery. Around the critical time of Easter, these include bunnies and baby chicks. “It’s very traditional for a lot of folks,” Bassett said. “They have been coming for years and years. We started this store in 1983, so we celebrated 30 years last year and with a ton of stories with people who grew up here that are now bringing their kids here as well.”
