As the article explained, labeling is crucial to the wine’s marketing concept. However, taste is also crucial, as what’s on the outside of a bottle can only go so far. Customers have to appreciate the flavor in order for them to continue buying the product. But, the label can get their attention.

“You don’t want to sell one bottle, you want to sell cases of wine,” Wilkinson explained to the source.
