Curious what you’ll see at the Bakery Showcase in Toronto this year? Optimedia Labs will be presenting some of Afinia’s color label printers and showing off how they work. Those interested in attending should register at this link in advance in order to be ready when the event itself comes around.
The Afinia printers that will be on display at booth 539A have different strengths, weaknesses, and price ranges, but could each help you produce long streams of high-quality labels for your business.
The Afinia R635 Digital Label Press, for example, can print on stock that includes different sizes and thicknesses, from paper to plastic. The images on the labels that it prints come in a resolution of 1200 by 600 dots per inch, and the way that it spools in labels allows it to meet your business’ demands.
Also on display at the Showcase will be Afinia L801 Memjet Color Label Printer, another label printer that can work in high-pressure environments and under duress. This industrial-size printer has the advantage of a printing speed of 60-feet-per-minute as well as a special head that can cut the labels as they are being printed, to use them as soon as possible and apply them directly to the product yourself.
Watching these different label printers in action, you can see for yourself how they work, and also how the systems they come with, such as the unwinder built into the L series, can lead to better labels. This could be valuable information as you carefully consider which printer is right for you.
